In this video for Everything DiSC® Facilitators and Participants Julie introduces the Empowering Direct Reports module for managers designed to enhance team independence and initiative. This module, one of five under development, guides leaders in empowering their teams by fostering independence, facilitating connections, offering guidance, and providing clarity.

Leaders must understand their natural inclinations and their team’s diverse needs, which are influenced by DiSC styles, to effectively empower direct reports. For instance, a D-style individual might easily accept authority but struggle with connections, whereas an i-style person might excel in networking but falter in communicating their message objectively.

The module helps leaders create personalized empowerment plans for their team members. It involves identifying a direct report’s DiSC style, understanding their needs, and devising strategies to foster empowerment effectively.
